Submersible Pumps

A submersible pump (or sub pump, electric submersible pump (ESP)) is a device which has a hermetically sealed motor close-coupled to the pump body. The whole assembly is submerged in the fluid to be pumped. The main advantage of this type of pump is that it prevents pump cavitation, a problem associated with a high elevation difference between pump and the fluid surface. Submersible pumps push fluid to the surface as opposed to jet pumps having to pull fluids. Submersibles are more efficient than jet pumps. Electric submersible pumps are multistage centrifugal pumps operating in a vertical position. Liquids, accelerated by the impeller, lose their kinetic energy in the diffuser where a conversion of kinetic to pressure energy takes place. This is the main operational mechanism of radial and mixed flow pumps.
The pump shaft is connected to the gas separator or the protector by a mechanical coupling at the bottom of the pump. Fluids enter the pump through an intake screen and are lifted by the pump stages.

Mono Black Pumps

Monoblock - is nothing but the motor(the prime mover of the pump) and pump are build together in the same housing. that is there is no need of any coupling device between the two shafts since the shafts are coupled directly.

Advantages of Geophysical Test -
Geophysical testing offers some notable advantages and some disadvantages that should be considered before the technique is recommended for a specific application. The advantages are summarized as follows: Many geophysical tests are non-invasive and thus offer significant benefits in cases where conventional drilling, testing, and sampling are difficult (e.g., deposits of gravel, talus deposits) or where potentially contaminated soils may occur in the subsurface. In general, geophysical testing covers a relatively large area, thus providing the opportunity to characterize large areas with few tests. It is particularly well-suited to projects that have large longitudinal extent compared to lateral extent (such as for new highway construction). Geophysical measurement assesses the characteristics of soil and rock at very small strains, typically on the order of 0.001 percent thus providing information on truly elastic properties. For the purpose of obtaining information on the subsurface, geophysical methods are relatively inexpensive when considering cost relative to the relatively large areas over which information can be obtained.

Screen or slated pipes are used for casing in ground water section to allow water to enter inside the well. These pipes can also be used to provide soak-ways for the storm water/rain water to infiltrate it back into surrounding areas. Thus we can recharge the ground water and prevent run off of rain water. These percolation pipes can also used in roof top rain water harvesting in the form of percolation pit, to recharge the ground water. These pipes can also be used for controlled and reduced volume of discharge of rain water into existing main sewer systems and water courses.
